The Mission of Riverside History & Nature Learning Center is to provide a hands-on learning experience for all our visitors.

There is something for everyone who enters our facility:  Goosetown history, the story of clamming on the river, information on riverboats---Riverside was a landing site, and our fishing wall displays of a multitude of fish and those who've landed them. Most importantly we provide an opportunity to handle natural artifacts from river critters, both past and present.  From bison bones to turtle shells, pelts, skulls, track replicas and an array of other displays, it's all here to learn from.  Everyone can touch and learn, but our particular goal is sparking the innate interests for the outdoors within our younger visitors.  They hold the future of these natural resources in their hands.
